Lately, BO7 has had me doing that thing where you swear you'll play "one more" and then spend the whole match getting farmed by a Den camper. If you're trying to cross toward Tin, you've seen it: one player glued to that headglitch, barely showing a pixel, deleting anyone who thinks a straight challenge is a good idea. I started treating it like a bad habit to break, and messing around in a CoD BO7 Bot Lobby helped me spot what actually works without feeding streaks. The Den angle feels "safe" for them because it is, at least if you play their game.

The main issue isn't your aim. It's information and cover. Den sees the Tin cross early, and the camper's gun's already up while you're still moving. Even if you land first shot, you're fighting a tiny target with a wall doing half the work for them. People keep ego-peeking because it feels like the honest fight, but BO7 doesn't reward honest when the map's built like this. You'll notice the same names doing it all match, too. They're not rotating, not taking risks, just waiting for you to blink.

Here's the part most players miss: that garage structure beside the lane isn't as "solid" as it looks. The material there is weirdly soft, like the devs tagged it wrong or just didn't care. So don't wide-swing Den. Don't shoulder-peek for info. Instead, line up on the garage wall that sits between you and the headglitch. You won't have eyes on them, and that's fine. Trust the geometry, not the peek. Put a steady burst right through the same panel area when you suspect they're posted. You'll get hit markers fast, and the damage drop isn't dramatic enough to save them if you stay on target.

To keep it reliable, do it in order: first, clock the timing of when Den usually settles in; second, listen for the reload or the tiny shuffle when they re-center; third, start your spray before you think you "should," because you're not reacting, you're denying the spot. If you've got a louder AR or an LMG, even better, but plenty of rifles get it done. After a couple of kills, they'll either stop headglitching or they'll tilt and over-peek, which is basically a donation. The funny bit is watching them spin around like the wall betrayed them.

Once you've shown you'll wallbang it, Den stops being a free lock and starts being a liability. That's the real win. You're not just getting one cheap elimination, you're forcing them to move, to second-guess, to play the rest of the map. It's the kind of counter that makes campers "suddenly" learn how to rotate. If you want a low-stress way to practice the lineup and timing before you take it into sweaty lobbies, running reps while you buy CoD BO7 Bot Lobby is a simple way to groove it without turning every mistake into a death screen.
