After choosing a university and specialty, take the following steps : 1. On the website of your chosen university or on the website of the Polish Ministry of Education, find the contact details of the department that accepts foreign students. Find out about your admission requirements, place availability, study details and other important information. 2. Prepare a package of necessary documents to submit to the university. The main documents are the following: - application for admission to the university (the form is established by the university itself); - certificate of general secondary education (certificate) and respective supplement; - a candidate questionnaire, which the university plans to fill out; - high-quality color photographs measuring 3.5*4.5 cm (some universities have their own requirements regarding the size and number of photographs); - medical certificate with translation confirming the medical examination; - copies of the passport of a citizen of Ukraine, identification code; - foreign passport special data  and a copy of the first page; - birth certificate and its translation; - receipts confirming payment for training; - insurance policy; - a copy of the visa; - certificates of proficiency in Polish and English. Please, note! Each university may have its own list of required documents and additional requirements. З. If the university has confirmed your registration, pay the fee. You can check the necessary information and details at the university where you are going to study. Typically, tuition fees are paid one year in advance. 4. The educational institution must then send you a study permit. Once you receive confirmation, you can safely submit all documents for a student visa. To do so, you will additionally need authorization from the university and a payment receipt. 5.



Foreign applicants first apply for a national D visa, which is valid for six months or 12 months. Then you just need to extend it. It is worth remembering that you should not delay your decision and choice of a Polish university. After all, the flow of foreign students to the country increases every year, so places at the university are quickly filled. What are the admission conditions to Polish universities for foreign students? Firstly, to enter a Polish university, it is recommended to pass the independent external assessment, as many universities require foreign students to have the appropriate certificates. Candidates often take entrance exams directly at their chosen educational institution. It is important to know Polish at least at B1 level, as well as English at at least upper-intermediate level. Normally, the language level can be confirmed at the university where you are going to study. As for English, it is advisable to have an appropriate international certificate.
