Mistake # 5 Using the same tracking tag to measure all conversions in Google Ads. Use the same tag for all different types of conversions . This will make it very difficult to drill down into your data and really understand what is driving conversions. This error is common when assigning the same conversion tracking tag to different types of actions a user can take on your website. That is, you are using the same tracking code for all conversions, no matter what action is being taken.

For example, imagine you have a contact Korea Phone Number Data form and a newsletter signup form on your website. If you're using the same tag for both, you won't be able to differentiate between someone who has filled out to the newsletter. Both actions will be recorded as the same conversion, making it difficult to know which ads are driving which actions. The solution to this mistake is to use different tracking tags for different types of conversions.

This will allow you to track each type of conversion separately and give you a much clearer picture of which ads and keywords are driving which types of conversions. To do this, you'll need to create a separate conversion action in Google Ads for each type of conversion you want to track. Then, you'll need to insert the corresponding conversion tracking tag on your website for each action. Understanding Data Discrepancy If you have Google Analytics and Google Ads integrated into your website, you've probably noticed discrepancies between these two platforms. Don't worry, this phenomenon is common and normal.
