Brazilians who are Brazilians love a holiday. If it is “amend”, then? Even better. Tomorrow, to the joy of Brazil, we have another holiday in 2008: Labor Day. For work, for workers, what matters is that it’s a holiday, right? But how about analyzing this, which is the reason for our lives? Because it's because of a good job that you study so much today.
To give you an idea of the importance of the work, in 2006 it was the subject of writing for the Fuvest entrance exam, which selects students for USP, one of the best universities in the country. It seems easy to write an essay on a “simple” topic like this, but have you ever tried? If you try, you will see that it is not that simple.

Work, in addition to being the reason we fight Special Data in life (as stated above), is, as many say, what “enlarges the soul”. With it, man “makes his contribution to society”. Buzzwords aside, it is necessary to understand that every May 1st, when Labor Day is celebrated, the ways of practicing it, of facing it and of seeing workers change.

But, if every day, millions of people in the world wake up early, go to work, return home and, at the end of the month, receive their salaries, what's new about that? The changes are implicit. They are in the new professions that emerge every day with market demands and in others that simply cease to exist, as they have become obsolete. They are also found in the workers themselves, who currently have no age or gender. What the job demands of them, above all, is the ability to adapt to constant changes in the market and to always keep up to date.

Research shows that there is little space nowadays for people who only have primary education (studied up to 4th grade). The tendency, experts say, is for this limit to extend to those who only have completed 1st grade (up to 8th grade) in a few years. This shows the need for a greater level of education for employees and how people with little education are being “discarded” from the market.

For these reasons and others, young people go so crazy when choosing a profession. Parents put pressure on one side, teachers on the other and, in the teenager's head, the idea ends up that they need to choose a profession that brings them “financial peace of mind”. Looking at the profession for the money it will provide you and not for the pleasure or your abilities is common nowadays. After all, young people do not want a future for themselves that they perhaps envision within their own homes, seeing the situation of unemployed or “discarded” parents from the market.

Looking for a job, finding a vocation, finding fulfillment in an activity, earning money, getting tired of working and, finally, wanting to retire. This seems to be the perspective most sought after by contemporary society. But all of this depends on a lot of effort, dedication and, coincidentally, work. The tip is that you don't look for “the” job, but rather “your” job, whatever it may be. And the money? Well, he follows those who are good at what they do. So be good!
